Glass Ceiling Domes
Our stained glass and leaded light domes are designed and manufactured from our Yorkshire workshop. They consist of a stainless steel frame with leaded lights or stained glass joined together with lead. From the smallest roof lantern to domes that span the full width and length of a swimming pool we can take care of every aspect.
Our leaded light or stained glass ceiling domes can me designed and manufactured to any specifications. Working together with other contractors, designers and architects we will overcome installation difficulties and detail what is required to fit the steelwork.
As part of the design we will break the dome down into sections that are small enough to be transported and installed on site.
Domes can be made to project up or down and other shapes and designs can be manufactured.
As with any other leaded glass panel we can use any type of coloured or textured glass available and different lead section sizes can be used to enhance design.
Painted and fired work can be incorporated into domes to an additional dimension and design element.

What is the light source?
The domes can be lit by a multi section lighting system which is controlled by a hand held remote.
How do I receive my dome?
The domes are constructed in such a way that they are flat packed for ease of shipping and self assembly on site, full instructions are supplied.
Is it possible to change the colours or design of the glass dome?
Yes.
How long does it take for the dome to arrive once ordered?
A standard dome takes approximately 8 to 10 weeks depending on current workload.
Do you offer a fitting service?
Yes we can, out domes have been designed to mound existing flat ceiling, they need one central mains electricity supply, please tell us your mains voltage on order.
Do I need to mount to a flat ceiling?
No, our domes can be supplied to fit into a suspended ceiling, light well or as a chain hung chandelier.
Do you only make hanging concave domes?
No, we have supplied many convex as well as concave domes.
Our domes are available in a infinite styles and colour combinations. Constructed using a metal supporting frame with decorative stained glass sections, our ceilings and domes are build in such a way that they can be delivered as flat packed, self assembly units.
